WELCOME – CANINE MASSAGE

If you have never considered massage for your dog, you are in for a wonderful new insight into caring for your companion.

Muscles become sore and painful in animals just as in humans.  The difference is animals cannot tell us when they hurt until a problem develops.   Massage is a natural, non-invasive method of reducing pain, stress and maintaining health.

Many pet owners tell me how they pet and rub their dogs.  And of course, our mush-ball dogs love it all.  What makes massage different from a hearty rub is the intention.  The dictionary says that to massage is “to rub for remedial effect”.  My training and experience in Canine Massage allows me to see and listen with my hands as I apply my knowledge of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology to the specific animal I am working with.

It is never my intention to make a medical diagnosis, provide veterinary care or obedience training to your pet.  My training is to support the healthy function of the myoskeletal system of a dog.  And that,  I do well.
